First time at this place, had a great experience. Food and service, both were great. Great options overall, and menu has fine details for making informed decisions. We had Mediterranean chicken, Blackened fish tacos, and Picante Burger, all were great tasting and just right portion size.

This is our main go-to place for lunch or beers after work. Food is good, although they like to change the menu and take away some great things (like the spicy hot sauce, or duck confit sandwich, etc). Otherwise the food is good, they have the best beer selection in the area, (and I don't just mean quantity, combination of quantity, quality, and cleaning their lines). Service is usually very good, although we usually sit at the bar and the bartenders are all great. Sunday brunch is on a whole other level. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area for lunch.

The food was delicious and the service was spot on, even with the long wait to be seated and to receive our entrees I'll gladly give 5 stars because they offered free dessert to make up for the wait! Its understandable that there will be issues sometimes with how long food takes to come out but the fact that they recognized it and tried their best to make up for it goes a long way with me.

Overall a pretty enjoyable experience. The hotel I was staying at recommended the reataurant. Had the tater tots for an appetiser and the chicken waffles for dinner. Both were phenominal. They have a wide selection of beers and a full liquor bar. They have "sports bar" seating, outdoor patio, as well as a more quiet booth seating are. If i was in the area I would 100% come back here and eat again.

Enjoyed my first trip here today for a fantastic mother's day brunch. Food was fresh and offered options both classic and spins on classics (sweet potato chorizo hash, for instance... very tasty) My husband opted for a chicken sandwich and raved about the seasoning and fresh bun. The staff was super accommodating and pleasant despite it clearly being one of their busiest days. Looking forward to trying again for dinner....

First of all, I never write a review of an establishment unless it is worth my time, and Tavern in the Square fits that bill! A group of us were in Northborough so we stopped in to have some drinks and grab some food. Really great look to this place, nice feel, loved the decor. Loved our food as well, perfectly cooked, but I have to say we had the best bartender we have ever had (and 3 of us in my party ARE bartenders by trade)! Not only was Tonie attentive and quick on her feet, but she made the perfect drinks and has the perfect precise pour which all bartenders worth their salt should possess. She made sure everyone at that bar was well taken care of and happy. Glad we stopped in and we will definitely be returning. Thanks for a great experience Tonie and staff!!! Hope to see you soon!!!
